To serve as a CATALYST for strengthening Arizona Manufacturing – accelerating its transformation into an efficient, powerful and sustainable engine of innovation driving economic growth and job creation.

The MEP has adopted the "Next Generation MEP" strategy that builds on the successes of the past twenty years of the MEP. As a result of the rapid economic changes in the country as well as the new challenges facing manufacturers, Arizona MEP embraces this new direction. Consistent with the future direction of MEP, over the next six months Arizona MEP will continue to focus its efforts in five specific areas:

The Arizona MEP is part of a nationwide network of technical, manufacturing and business specialists linked together by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST); the Arizona MEP is a unique resource for manufacturing in Arizona.
